Hi there! Welcome back to my blog (or I guess it’s more of a vlog, huh?)
I had a purpose for choosing this song this week.
The world is feeling pretty tense to me these days. Especially here in the USA. Whatever side of the political fence you fall on there’s just a lot of tension, stress all around, anywhere you look. And our kids feel it too.
So – I chose a song this week about having faith.
In my most stressful or darkest moments, I find solace in remembering there’s something greater than and more powerful than me that I can have faith in, rely on, and rest in – if I choose to.
This is the thing that all religions and faiths have in common. Which is also a great jumping off point for discussing tolerance and acceptance – looking for what we all have in common.
And so, I thought that today we’d sing this song “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands” to just take a pause and practice a little faith. Even if it just helps us all to feel good for just a few minutes. 🙂
Because at the very least, when you feel good, you do good!
And at the most – we remember that there is a greater benevolent force at work, and we can tap into that for help and guidance any time we want to.
