Well, hello there!

What a week it’s been! Halloween was a flurry of super fun activity, and then the very next day, I was off to do two preschool, Thanksgiving themed performances. LOL! And so it goes in the Fall, right?!

But yes, here it is November and I begin the exploration of Thanksgiving for preschoolers and toddlers, through music and movement.

For my youngest classes that often means songs about Turkeys and various other birds. For the older preschoolers and Kindergartens, we sing those songs as well as begin discussing Gratitude and what we’re thankful for.

Over on my Facebook Page, this month I’ll be having conversations with YOU all about what we’re grateful each grateful for. So be sure and check in over there and join the conversation.

And for this week’s video, we’re doing one of those Turkey songs I mentioned –  that happens to be a finger play, too. (You can do it as a straight rhyme or sing it). There’s nothing about the song that mentions Thanksgiving. But any songs about Turkeys and the phrase “Gobble Gobble” seem to suffice. 🙂

So click below and enjoy! And please share this video with any other parents, teachers and/or librarians who might enjoy learning this material or sharing the video with the children in their life.

Enjoy! And have a wonderful week!

xoxo
