Good morning!
WOW!!! I’m back from our family vacation and feeling incredible! We were down in Columbia, South Carolina first for a family wedding in which Piper was a flower girl, and then we moved on to Isle of Palms for a full week of sun and fun for what is now our annual Stone Family trip.
A full week of days on the beach and in the ocean is heaven for me!
If that weren’t enough to make me the happiest woman ever, yesterday was a phenomenal day! Started out with a great crowd of people at my Shoreview Library Show this morning and truly had so much fun with those kids and parents and teachers! Then I “discovered” a place here in Maple Grove, MN called the Elm Creek Park Reserve’s Pond – a chlorinated swimming pond & beach which is officially my new Happy Place! I was there with my sister, niece (Marissa – remember her?!, her friend and Piper AND while there, after two summers of working on it, Piper learned to swim!!!!! (!!!! Like, some incredible underwater swimming!!!) Ended the day with Biscuit “graduating” from Dog Obedience 1 class. I mean truly the #bestdayever ! Here’s a few photos of the fun:
