Ever since my video with sweet Mary, I’ve had this song in my head. And I’ve been using it in the 4s classes, where I teach, as an exercise for exploring rhymes and songwriting – and boy we’ve had some fun!
And, as you probably read last week, I’ve been on a teensy weensy hiatus from making new videos: I promised a friend of mine that I’d take a one-month break as I’d been dong so much and working so hard for many, many months. And I have to say, I’m glad for this challenge – it’s been lovely taking a few thins off my plate for a while. But to be honest – I’m anxious to get back to making something new for you! So stay tuned…
In the meantime, here’s another Blast-From-The-Past – my version of “Down By The Bay”:
And if you’re child is exploring the new skill of rhyming, have some fun trying to come up with your own verses! What the kids have been coming up with in my classes has been pretty hilarious.
Enjoy the video and I look forward to seeing you next week with something new…. 🙂
