Those five little monkeys are back! They’re not jumping on the bed though. Oh no – they’re swinging on a tree, antagonizing an alligator. Some might say that they get what’s coming to them. 🙂 But I found a version that at least leaves one remaining monkey to tell the tale.

This little video took a few more “takes” then I imagined. Stay tuned till the end to see my blooper!

As you can see, I decided to use puppets in this one – not something I do often! So although I don’t teach any motions to move along with me – there’s plenty of learning to be had! The rhythm, rhyme and repetition of the chant are all great for speech and language development. And then there’s, of course, the element of numbers, counting and a bit of subtraction!

So much packed into one, fun little chant. I’m hoping your child enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Have a wonderful week and I’ll “see” you soon!
