Happy Tuesday!
And Happy Spring??!!!
I don’t know about where you are – but where I am it snowed yesterday (on April 2nd!) and it’s not feeling so Spring-Timey. So what’s a girl to do?!
Perhaps this is a great moment to model how the outer weather doesn’t have to dictate our “inner weather”. Gray skies don’t have to mean gray moods. And it’s a great time to remember that even though things look one way on the outside now, doesn’t mean they’ll always be this way. (So many metaphors!)
I’m on a bit of a Spring Break myself – so although I don’t have a new video for you today – I have the perfect Spring Time pair of videos: The Very Hungry Caterpillar story – read aloud, followed by “The Very Hungry Caterpillar Went Out One Day”.
And an additional fun ting to do with this book – have a Very Hungry Caterpillar picnic! (An indoor picnic is double the fun, if the weather is bad!). See how many items from the story you can include in your picnic and perhaps your kids will have fun trying a few new things??
