So….although I’ve published a video with this song in it before (https://mymissnina.com/bye-bye-small-wonder/) I’d not done it as a sing-along song/typical Miss Nina weekly video!
So here it is, the Sha Doo Be Doop version!
When I sang this song in the classroom, rather than saying goodbye in different languages, I used that part of the song to say goodbye to each child by name. It wasn’t until I was up in Woodstock. recording the CD, that I came up with the extra verses, and the idea of using different languages.
There’s nine in total: English, Hebrew, Spanish, French, Afrikans, Japanese, Hindi, Italian, and German.
So, it’s an educational song, for sure. But it’s also just a lot of fun to dance to! 🙂
