Thank you to Rose for suggesting this song to me this week!

As soon as I read the title of the song in her email I remembered it. Both as a song I’d heard, and reading it in a Shel Silverstein collection. It was a fun trip down memory lane for me, remembering the time I spend reading all of Mr. Silverstein’s poems for kids, over and over again.

So, today for your little ones, not only is the a silly song – and you know how we love those! – but it’s a song that works on body identification, as well as a little bit of logic. 😉

And of course, there’s the fact that I got a hair cut and my pig tails are no more! (For now, anyways)  A couple of not-so-great hair cuts coupled with the ever changing postpartum hormones left my hair in a pretty undesirable state.  The best move was to cut it all off! So, aside from any inherent learning within today’s song, you may also have the opportunity to talk about “change”.  😉

Wishing you a wonderful week & I’ll see ya next time!
