Hey y’all!! Thanks so much for your interest in being on the Miss Nina Weekly Video Show!
We had a blast back in 2018 making a slew of videos. Below is a long play video of episodes when I’ve had guests on including the “KindeComm Sessions”. You’ll see I’ve had the great pleasure and honor to have Grammy Award Winners & Nominees and Juno Nominees on the show as well as many of our Kindie friends and favorites you’ll be seeing and hearing from at this year’s Kindiecomm. Press play to check it out: .
So below you’ll find all the Who, What, Why, Where, When and How about my video recording sessions at KindieComm 2020. Watch the video and/or read below OR feel free to skip to the bottom for the sign-up form!
WHO IS MISS NINA?
Well, hi there! I am Nina Stone aka Miss Nina. I am a three time Parents Choice Award winning children’s music artist. I’m an entertainer & educator, a former professional dancer, a former preschool teacher, a wife and a mom of an almost-7-year old. I’m passionate about using movement and music for learning and literacy in early childhood and special needs communities.
WHAT IS THE MISS NINA WEEKLY VIDEO SHOW?
The Miss Nina Weekly Video Show is a weekly show on YouTube that I started 2012, with new videos coming out (nearly) every Tuesday since then. I had wanted to make sing-along, move-along videos so kids could have active and engaged screen time. I wanted to talk directly to the children because my most favorite thing when I was a little kid was the end of Romper Room when the lady would hold up the magic mirror and say “I see Jonathan, and Mary and Kimberly…” But she NEVER said Nina. I wanted kids to have a TV experience where they felt seen and important the way I was yearning to be seen by the Romper Room Lady!
When I started the channel, I wanted to grow my local following – and then suddenly by accident I had a national and then global fan base. I continue to receive emails and messages from folks around the country and as far away as Japan, Australia, South Africa, France, Spain, England, Germany, Canada and more! And now those same people across the world can become your fan, too! Which leads me to….
WHY BE ON THE MISS NINA WEEKLY VIDEO SHOW?
Well, first – because it’s FUN!! I LOVE having guests on the show (and the kids love when I do.)!
But aside from being just super fun, videos on YouTube are the best, free marketing tool around. Being a guest on the show has huge benefits for you: Between my own following 24,000 Subscribers & over 14 million views, your online & local following, and the organic searches for children’s songs, my show can be a powerful marketing and promotion tool FOR YOU! And remember, YouTube is owned by Google – the number one search engine in the world – which only helps people find you and your music that much easily!
WHERE IS THE VIDEO SHOOT HAPPENING?
We will be recording in The World Cafe Performance Studio downstairs during Kindiecomm.
WHEN ARE WE RECORDING?
We’ll be recording all day long on Saturday, April 4th 2020 from 9 am(ish) to 5pm(ish). There will be a break here and there so I can attend a panel or two. : ) My aim is to record 2 videos per hour. Giving us plenty of time to to get oriented, practice a bit and record. (Last time we recorded 9 videos in 2 hours and was very fast paced! )
HOW CAN I BE A GUEST ON THE SHOW?
Here’s how: If you’re interested in being a guest on The Miss Nina Weekly Video Show, please fill out the form below. I cannot guarantee that everyone who fills out a form will get a spot. BUT – in an effort to get as many people on the show as possible, I may try and have us team up and collaborate in small groups. Last year we had several team ups: Marsha Goodman-Wood and Yosi, The Green Orbs and Rocking Red, Laura Dougherty and Matthew Heaton, and Annie Lynn and Vivi Melody.
After I’ve received all the sign-ups, I’ll reach out to you about time slots, song choices, etc.
Please let me know in your form if you will have an instrument with you to play or not.
