Before I ever danced on a stage or set foot in a theater I learned this great song from the musical “Guys & Dolls”. I distinctly remember sitting on my big-girl-bed with my mother, either pre-nap or post-nap, playing with the necklace she was wearing and singing this song together – Bushel & A Peck. Its a sweet song with repetition, a wonderful sentiment and of course some fun doodle oodle ooo doos at the end.
If you don’t know the song, but would like to – fear not! I’ve got the words scrolling along the bottom as I sing. And I’m sure you’ll pick them up fast. So join me and my new ukelele as I sing to you from my room in Isle of Palms, South Carolina.
Enjoy & see you next week!

Hi Miss. Nina,
I have a student that LOVES your Bushel and a Peck song, we play it in class daily for him. His name is Thomas and he is your number one fan. He lights up every time we play your song.
Any possibility you can give him a shot out??
His birthday is coming up in December!
Thank you!!!
Nicole
Hi Nicole!! Oh how sweet! I will be more than happy to give Thomas a shout out in an upcoming video.
When in December is his birthday? Thanks so much for writing and in the meantime give Thomas a big hug and kiss from me!! xoxo
