MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I hope your week is off to a great start! Things are winding down here at Miss Nina HQ and I have one excited seven year old who cannot wait for Christmas morning! And one Mama who is very exited about taking some time off!
There WILL be a new video next week, but we’ll be off from classes and streaming shows for the first time since March. WOW!
There is certainly much to say about 2020, but one of the good things that has come out of this time is getting to really connect with so may of you across the globe! And really connect – online during streaming shows and performances and via emails. It has really been one of the blessings. The Miss Nina community truly spans the globe and I’m grateful that I get to be a part of you and your child’s/children’s lives.
THIS WEEK’S VIDEO IS…
TWINKLE TWINKLE CHRISTMAS STAR!
I figure the perfect way to celebrate Christmas with the little ones is with a tune they know and love! The lyrics appear in the video, and I cut away to several shots of different Christmas Trees with twinkling stars on top.
EARLY LEARNING CONCEPTS CHILDREN WILL GET FROM THIS VIDEO…
- They get to sing a familiar tune but with new words – and with the words on the screen they can start to identify some of the words and letter sounds they are singing
- Identification of a star and star shape
- A Christmas song on their level that is easy to remember and sing
