I first heard this song at the preschool where I work. My dear friend, Nadia, was leading a group of 3-year-olds on a walk outside and she was singing this song to them to and they were loving it! They had a blast waiting to hear their own name.
I, of course, could not include every child’s name in my version of the song, but hopefully after you hear it, you can have fun adding in your family’s names and singing it at home.
Enjoy!

hi Miss Nina, thank you for being you! I enjoy your emails and videos – you help support my preschool teaching practice!
Just wanted to give you a scoop on Willowby Wallowby Woo – I believe it originally was a poem by Dennis Lee, a Canadian Poet. If you check out the book that it’s published in, you’ll find some other variations and ideas to take the rhyme further – I use them with great success (Willowby Wallowby wungry, I’m feeling kinda hungry. Willowby Wallowby wack, I think it’s time for snack…!)

Hiya Wildflower!
Thank you for the suggestions – I love ’em! I look forward to playing with those variations in my classes. 🙂
