It’s back-to-school time and for the first time in six years I am NOT heading back-to-school to teach my beloved Small Wonder program.
The children and parents who attended that program, and the faculty at the school all were sources of inspiration, growth, fun and love and certainly helped mold me into the “Miss Nina” I am today. I am forever grateful and feeling quite nostalgic and even sad at the moment.
So it seemed like the perfect time to make a video in tribute to The Small Wonder program This song, Bye-Bye Everybody, was originally written as a good-bye song for the program, where each child’s name was sung. In rewriting it for the album, Sha Doo Be Doop, I added different languages where the children’s names were normally sang. I also added a few more versus. 🙂
There was no way to accurately capture every single child, adult, colleague and friend in this video! But I think I capture the feeling of fun and love that permeated the program. Enjoy the video and keep in touch Small Wonder-ites!
