Farmer Brown Had Five Green Apples

I hope your week is off to a great start!

This week I’ve got a new video for you – and it’s an excerpt from Online Playschool! In Online Playschool, participants receive a new video each day: Monday is arts & craft video day with three crafts related to our theme and concepts, Tuesday is story time, Wednesday is Sensory activities and snack recipes, and Thursday is our sing & move along video!

So today’s video is just one of 10+ songs we did a few weeks ago on sing-along day, “Farmer Brown Had Five Green Apples”:

You may know it and have done it starting with 10 apples. But for our little ones, five can be just the right amount of time.  I love this song because it not only works on counting, but on the concept of subtraction.

I didn’t have green apples, but I did have green shakers! So I used those and had fun pretending to eat them. 🙂
