JUMP IN, JUMP OUT, WIGGLE ALL ABOUT – LET’S DANCE!

I am in a celebratory mood! The weather here was so warm and wonderful the past couple of days it just did EVERYTHING for us – our moods, our outlooks – and lifted our spirits so much… more than I even knew we needed! 

And tomorrow, I get my first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and Mister Nina gets his on Friday. I’m feeling so hopeful and happy – I just feel like dancing!

This is an original movement song of mine. It’s not been recorded professionally yet, but it’s a favorite of my Tunes & Tales online class and I just couldn’t wait to get it out to you. If you like my songs UP & DOWN or TOGETHER & APART – you’ll LOVE THIS!

EARLY LEARNING CONCEPTS CHILDREN WILL GET FROM THIS VIDEO...

• IN & OUT CONCEPT: As I say in the video, you can do this with a circle of friends, with a hoop on the floor or making a masking tape shape on the floor – or anything you come up with! – and children get to visually and physically experience the concepts of IN & OUT jumping in and out of the circle/shape – while also having fun dancing! (PS: my friends who are sitting in chairs, you can put your hands or arms in and out of a circle of some sort in front of you – these songs are always adaptable!)
• SIGHT WORDS:  Take the learning up a notch by putting the word IN on the inside of the circle, and the word OUT on the outside. The repetition of the words along with the movements will help children to recognize and remember those words,  how to say them, and what they mean!
• FITNESS:  This song is simply a great little cardio workout! I did it several times in a row while filming and my Fitbit registered as a cardio workout – LOL! We’re jumping, dancing, wiggling, clapping spinning – all of it. We work on coordination, jumping on two feet, and keeping the beat. It’s a great little song and activity all the way around!
