Today I’ve got KINDNESS on my mind.
When I look at the world through a Social Media lens, it is ROUGH. Contentious. Negative. Kindness is rare. But Kindness is a practice. The less we practice it the less we’ll have of it. I find myself having to tell Piper often “The WAY we say what we say, is AS IMPORTANT as what we are saying” and that even if we have different opinions we an Be Kind.
This week’s Miss Nina Weekly Video is an original song called “Be Kind” that I wrote last November for Sonshine and Broccoli’s Kindie Kindness Challenge. Thanks to them, I wrote a song that has become a favorite of my T/TH Facebook Lives. So – I made it my video of the week. Lyrics are in the video so you can learn the words and sing along. It’s a song about how small acts of kindness have a BIG impact. Even includes the Golden Rule:
