Hello my Friend!!

I’m sooo excited to share with you a new preschool song for Winter that I wrote last weekend: My Mittens!

So, I’m home with a cold and a bad case of laryngitis. Although that’s bad news for me and my students, it’s good news for you! I got to stay home and edit this video that I, fortunately, shot this weekend when I still had a voice!

So, it’s that time of year when I like to sing my song version of the book The Mitten by Jan Brett (I’ll link to that further down in this post….) and focus on sorts of Winter songs and activities. But I realized, that I did not have a song about wearing mittens or putting them on!

So, I wrote a short little ditty and recorded it:

And to go along with that video – if your little on needs some help learning how to put on their winter coat; have no fear, Miss Nina is here with The Coat Flip song for you!

And if you are doing a Unit around Winter, you’ll love the book The Mitten by Jan Brett. I’ve used it in preschool drama classes, at Birthday parties, for performances and just a couple of years ago, I made my own song version of it. You can see and hear that here:

And there you have it! A new song Winter song for preschool that goes great with a couple of my other videos. Hope you’re making the best of the Winter wherever you are. I’ll see you back with a new video in February!

XOXO

Miss Nina
