Well, hi there!
It’s really Springtime! It may not fully feel like it yet – but it’s here, along with Passover, Easter and Spring Break!!
Both Passover and Easter begin this coming weekend – so I figured it was fitting to put out both an Easter and a Passover song this week. We’ve got Peter Cottontail to hop and sing-along to, and we’ve got “Where is Baby Moses” that we can do the motions to and easily sing-along with.
The religious stories that accompany both of these holidays are pretty intense and a bit too much for our little ones. So in this case I focused on the Easter Bunny side of things for those of us who celebrate Easter – and for those who celebrate Passover I focused on Baby Moses, which tells the most bare bones version of the story. In fact, it pretty much skips almost the whole Passover story – lol! But it’s a fun action song with lots of imagery and I find that the kids can really latch onto this one.
So, without further ado, here is video number one – Peter Cottontail:
And video number two, “Where Is Baby Moses”:
(I’ll paste the lyrics below for both songs in case you need to them….)
Whatever you celebrate, I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend and/or Spring Break!
Sending you all lots of love and I’ll see you next Tuesday!
xoxo Miss Nina
