Although I am writing to you from super snowy Minnesota – I’m feeling very excited about SPRING!
Yes, after a virtually snow-less Winter, it’s finally decided to Snow here a mere week after the first day of Spring. ?!?!
But nevertheless, I am going to CELEBRATE SPRING as much as possible! So I’ve got a new video for you of the wonderful preschool spring song, A Little Seed. This song, based on the poem by Mabel Watts is a favorite of children of all ages, frankly. I was just doing it with my 1st, 2nd & 3rd grade music students today!
It has a lovely calm melody, simple motions and a sweet surprise ending. It can be done as just a fingerplay, or as a scarf song.
