Preschool Turkey Rhyme | Mr. Turkey and Mr. Duck | Thanksgiving Rhyme For Kids

Hi there! 

HAPPY ALMOST THANKSGIVING!

Well here we are – just days before the big day. I couldn’t let it pass without one more of my favorite Turkey Rhymes! 

THIS WEEK’S VIDEO IS…

MR. TURKEY AND MR. DUCK! 

It’s a simple rhyme where we get to “Gobble” and “Quack” a lot! In this video we do the rhyme a total of FOUR times: first I teach it, then we do Mr. Turkey & Mr. Duck, then MRS. Turkey and MRS. Duck, and finally BABY Turkey and BABY Duck.

EARLY LEARNING CHILDREN WILL GET FROM THIS VIDEO…

• Although they think it’s just silly, good fun, saying “Gobble Gobble Gobble” and “Quack, Quack, Quack” repeatedly is WONDERFUL for speech and language development.
• Physically, children get to develop their fine motor skills while using their thumbs to “talk” to each other, AND they work on putting their hands behind their back – which can be challenging for the little ones! 
• Children get to model and see, through this activity, polite conversation and how to take turns when talking (even if it’s between a Turkey and Duck – LOL! ) One animal “talks” while the other listens. The activity also models “how” to do pretend play between characters.
