Rain Songs for Preschool

I feel a little bit like a broken record talking about how crazy the weather is here – but it seems like this April the weather’s been a little nuts EVERYWHERE!

But one this is for sure: the weather will change. Lol!

And as they say “April Showers bring May Flowers”. (Even if those showers happen to be, um, snow showers like here in MN. 🤦‍♀️)

So, this week I’m celebrating the crazy weather and the April showers with a three-song medley or preschool rain songs: It’s Raining It’s Pouring, Rain Rain Go Away and Come Under My Umbrella:

 

 

I had some fun with the backgrounds for the video this week, just to keep it interesting. (Let me know what you think!)

 

There’s no set way to participate with these rain songs:

 

You can simply sing-along, you can grab some movement scarves and have fun moving them and throwing them up and down letting them be the rain or your umbrella, or grab some instruments to play along or make your own soundscape of a rain storm.
