Love & Press for Miss Nina
Love from parents & kids
I would like to thank you for all that you do! My son Jaxson is 2 years old and is autistic. He is a visual learner. He is also non verbal. Your videos have helped him out so much! For months I have been trying to get him to blow kisses. Since he has started watching your videos he tells you bye and blows you kisses back. When he has “melt downs” sometimes it helps calm him down if we put one of your videos on. He tries to do some of the motions that you do. It is just amazing at the things that he has started doing since we have found your video….You have truly been a blessing to us! I just can’t thank you enough!.
Hi Miss Nina!
My 2 1/2 year old daughter is OBSESSED with you. We listen or watch you every day and you have no idea what a hero you are to us… Not just to Mara but my husband and I too. You’ve kept her awake in the car, helped her eat meals and you’ve kept her calm during medical procedures (Mara has epilepsy). She impersonates you when she plays guitar and soon I will get a video for you. Her little brother Neil is starting to get into it too! Anyway, just wanted to say thank you. Please keep us in mind if you ever perform near Cincinnati. She would be over the moon.
Dear Miss Nina,
I’m a single mom of an adorable and sweet 2 year old boy. We stumbled on your videos through youtube and thank goodness we did. When I need time to do dishes, laundry, etc. all I have to do is ask if he wants to watch Miss Nina and he lights up! He will stay entertained in front of the TV dancing and singing while I get things done. He has such a great time and is learning so much from you. When I try to sing the songs he tell me “no mamma, Nina”. It feels like you are part of the family!
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much you have saved my sanity at times and how much my son adores you. Thank you for being such an amazing spirit in this world where there are not enough.

Singer/songwriter Nina Stone hits all the right notes with her second album. Her voice is strong and clear, and each song is delightful, whether it is putting a new spin on the alphabet, touting the joys of the hula hoop, or providing instructions on how to wash your hands. Songs based on the books How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight by Jane Yolen and Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See? by Bill Martin, Jr. will have children clamoring for the stories, as will the song “Wild Things” which is inspired by Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. With most of the numbers running about three minutes, they will work best in story times or programs that feature a music or singing element. The unique concept of this album makes it a must-have for every collection.
Musician, YouTube star, and three-time Parents’ Choice award winner Nina Stone (a.k.a. “Miss Nina” ) presents Every Day’s Your Birthday, her third album for children and families and her first album produced in conjunction with her band, The Jumping Jacks. Reveling in the spirit of 60’s and 70’s pop-rock, Every Day’s Your Birthday is a original work brimming with creative joy and laugh-out-loud humor. An excellent choice for children’s celebrations, or playtime any day, Every Day’s Your Birthday is highly recommended.
From the opening “My Hula Hoop” romp to her ode to Jane Yolen’s “How Does A Dinosaur Say Goodnight?”, Miss Nina packs wall to wall talent and fun in the twelve songs on Sha Doo Be Doop.
Nina’s spirit and talent is evident in the musically rich original songs and lyrics from her pen, and the fresh and inventive approaches to the ABC song (“The New Alphabet”), “Ba-Rump” (this is not Burl Ives singing little green frog), and “Sing Your Way Home.
love from librarians, teachers, schools & more!
Thank you again for a wonderful concert last night! It’s been wonderful using your songs in story time and then seeing the kids/parents reactions and watching them follow along when you were singing the songs they love! We are so glad you could visit Rochester again, and we hope to see you soon!
Thanks you so much! It was such a great morning for all of our families and you truly captured our kids! Such a great day for all of us.
